Nadeemuddin had sought information about the district-wise challans, summon charges collected (fines) and masks distributed to those who broke the rules. Maximum 234724 challans were made in Dehradun district. 213607 in Haridwar, 153014 in Nainital district and 101944 in Udham Singh Nagar district were challaned. Similarly, 17198 in Uttarkashi, 72368 in Tehri district, 15858 in Chamoli, Rudraprayag 14374, 58332 in Pauri Garhwal, 34044 in Almora, 21841 in Bageshwar, 22041 in Champawat, 21919 in Pithoragarh and 1056 were invoiced by Railway Police.
Nainital leads in fine
Penalty / summon fee for lockdown violation was maximum Rs 730.06 lakh collected in Nainital district. 584.73 lakh in Dehradun, 545.16 lakh in Haridwar, 418.74 lakh in Udham Singh Nagar district. Similarly, 76.61 lakh in Uttarkashi, 203.43 lakh in Tehri district, 86.86 lakh in Chamoli district, 58.87 lakh in Rudraprayag district, 206.64 lakh in Pauri Garhwal, 167.17 lakh in Almora, 83.94 lakh in Bageshwar, 98.16 lakh in Champawat, 163.74 lakh in Pithoragarh. And Rs 19.44 lakh has been recovered in Railway Police.
Most invoices cut in Dehradun for not wearing masks
Maximum 219350 challans were cut in Dehradun district for not wearing masks. 154948 challans were cut in Udham Singh Nagar district, 137341 in Haridwar and 128499 in Nainital district. Similarly, 24551 in Uttarkashi, 122660 in Tehri, 13752 in Chamoli, 24408 in Rudraprayag, 89542 in Pauri Garhwal, 71584 in Almora, 14199 in Bageshwar, 56019 in Champawat, 22296 in Pithoragarh while Railway Police deducted 1912 invoices.
