The Chief Minister’s helicopter landed at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Rasin Dam Irrigation Project site in Chitrakoot at around 11 am. After this, the Chief Minister reached the Shiva temple in the nearby park, where the pandits offered prayers amidst Vedic chanting and then the Chief Minister inaugurated the Rs 140.20 crore Rasin Dam Project. The project will provide water for irrigation of 2290 hectares to 3635 farmers in 17 villages of the region.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath told the gathering after seeing the regulator of Lahchura Dam and Arjun Sahayak Project in Mahoba that the water power ministry has shown water power in the BJP government. The CM shook hands and accepted the greetings of the public. He said that drinking water works are going on in Bundelkhand, in which the administration should provide employment to the youth. He asked for the Ministry of Water Power that till now people believed that the Ministry of Water Power only gets hand pumps but the Ministry has shown the power of water.
CM said, Ever since the Modi government came, all the major irrigation schemes have been run. In his address for about seven minutes, the Chief Minister told about the development works and achievements of Bundelkhand. Launched several projects and spoke of the government’s efforts to make irrigated Bundelkhand irrigated till now. He asked for the people’s representatives that they choose and arrive at the House, where the development of Bundelkhand and the poor farmers make a voice. He said that my Mahoba is a land of heroes, I have a special attachment from here. Many things have been learned from here when he came last time. The Chief Minister along with the officers saw the regulator of Arjun Sahayak Project, Lahchura Dam and other works and questioned the officers.
There will be a public meeting in GIC grounds of Banda. With the inauguration and laying of 229 projects of Banda, Hamirpur, Mahoba and Chitrakoot, they can also announce a big deal.
The central and state government’s eyes are set on Bundelkhand. CM Yogi Adityanath is on a two-day tour after preparing a roadmap to launch several projects on the ground for development here. After Jalaun, Lalitpur and Jhansi on Tuesday, programs are scheduled in Chitrakoot and Banda on Wednesday. The district administration was busy in the preparations throughout the day for the arrival of the Chief Minister. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various projects of the four districts from GIC Ground in Banda.
The Chief Minister will reach Banda by helicopter from Chitrakoot. One can also inspect the district hospital and a primary school along the Bundelkhand Expressway. According to the protocol, the Chief Minister will reach the police line at 11:55 pm, from where the main event is organized at the GIC ground. Here the beneficiaries will also distribute certificates for the schemes. He will also go to inspect the Khatan Drinking Water Project of every house tap, house to house water scheme under the Jal Jeevan Mission. Along with meeting with public representatives, party officials, a review meeting of law and order and development works will be held.
