New Delhi. After a long time once again Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag, one of the world’s best opening pair, will be seen at the ground. In the first match of the Road Safety World Series, both of them will start from the beginning of the innings. A total of 6 teams are participating in this series played from March 5 to March 21. The series is to be played in Raipur, the capital of Chhattisgarh.
The Road Safety World Series is going to start from today. India will face Bangladesh team in the first match of the series. The much-awaited series is scheduled to begin at the Shaheed Veeranarayan Stadium in Raipur. The Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel, is going to start this series. India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, South Africa and England will take part in this series, which will run for half a month.
In this series only the veterans who have said goodbye to cricket are included. Recently India’s all-rounder Yusuf Pathan, fast bowler R Vinay Kumar and wicketkeeper Naman Ojha have said goodbye to international cricket. They will all be seen playing in this series. Among the big names are India’s stalwarts Sachin Tendulkar, Virender Sehwag, Irfan Pathan, Yuvraj Singh.
Other big names in the world are Brian Lara of West Indies, Jonty Rhodes of South Africa, Kevin Pietersen of England and Mohammad Nazimuddin of Bangladesh. India will play with Bangladesh in the first match this evening. After this, India will have to play the remaining four teams on March 9 and 13. The semi-final match of the series will be played on 17 and 19 March. This year’s series will conclude with a March 21 finals match.
