The police encounter the accused, who were preparing for a fire in a forest near Atheseni village in the central Ganga Canal track under the Garhmukteshwar police station area of Hapur district, very close to Delhi. In the encounter, two accused were shot in the leg by the police, injuring them. Police arrested four accused from the spot and recovered one cow dynasty alive. At the same time, two other accused escaped by taking advantage of the darkness. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital for treatment by the police. Police officer Pawan Kumar said that late Monday night, the police station was patrolling in the area. During this time, the police received information about the fire in the forest near Athensi village. Seeing the police who arrived at the information, the accused, who were preparing for Gokshi, started firing, in which the policemen narrowly escaped.
After firing, the accused escaped. Simbhavali and Bahadurgarh police and SOG team reached the spot after the police gave information. Where the siege arrested four accused during the encounter. In which two injured Sheenu and Sonu resident of village Athasseni were injured by a police shot in the leg. The injured have been admitted to the local hospital by the police.
The officer told that apart from Sheenu and Sonu who were injured due to the bullet, Zahid and Khalid have also been arrested. Whereas, two other accused escaped. The police have recovered a live bovine, Katan equipment from the spot. In the police interrogation, the accused have admitted that the incident of cow slaughter occurred in the forest of village Pavti and Hiranpura of Kotwali area in the past. The police have initiated action against the accused by registering a case in the relevant sections.
