Dehradun. In most cities of Uttarakhand, the temperature is increasing rapidly. Alam is that the mercury of the hill cities is climbing in February itself. In hill stations like Mussoorie, Nainital and Mukteshwar, mercury has reached around Haridwar and Udham Singh Nagar. However, in some districts there is a possibility of light rain between the partial clouds.
The weather in Uttarakhand has been dry for the past several days. Due to bright sunshine in the day, heat is started to be felt. The maximum temperature in Mussoorie has reached nine degrees Celsius above normal and the minimum temperature has reached six degrees Celsius. This is the Alam of Mukteshwar. Where maximum and minimum temperatures are eight and seven degrees Celsius above normal respectively. According to Bikram Singh, director of the meteorological center, western disturbances may be affected in Himalayan regions.
Due to this, there can be hail and rain in Chamoli, Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Nainital and Bageshwar. Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning falling somewhere. Here, maximum and minimum temperatures in Doon have reached five degrees Celsius above normal. Mussoorie also has a minimum mercury of seven degrees Celsius above normal.
