Dehradun. After a sharp rise in bright sunshine and mercury, the weather in Uttarakhand can now turn. Due to the activation of Western Disturbance, a yellow alert has been issued in five districts of the state on Tuesday. Here, in most areas the minimum temperature has reached two-four degree Celsius above normal.
The weather in Uttarakhand has been dry for the last several days. Due to the bright sunshine in the day, the heat is started to be felt. However, mild chills persist in the morning and evening. According to Bikram Singh, director of the meteorological center, western disturbances are expected to reach the Himalayan regions on Monday. After which, there may be hailstorms in Chamoli, Dehradun, Uttarkashi, Nainital and Bageshwar on Tuesday and Wednesday. Apart from this, there is a possibility of lightning falling somewhere.
Fog prevailed in the morning, then sunny
Fog enveloped Roorkee city and surrounding areas on Sunday morning. At the same time, the brightness of sunshine was also mild compared to the previous days. Due to which the coolness was dissolved in the weather. The weather has been changing many colors in the last few days in Shikshanagari. Someday the sun is blooming. Due to which the effect of cold is reducing in the weather, then in the morning there is fog and light sun is blooming. Fog enveloped the atmosphere till 10.30 am on Sunday. In such a situation, visibility was low. The drivers traveled by lighting the car due to reduced visibility. At the same time, the fog began to clear after ten o’clock in the morning and after some time the sun blossomed. The citizens relieved the cold due to the sunlight, but the weather turned cold again after the day had ended.
