Bangkok | World champion women’s badminton player PV Sindhu of India has made it to the second round of Toyota Thailand Open on Tuesday. He defeated local player Busanan Ongbamuranfan in the first round. Sindhu defeated Busanan 21–17 21–13. The match lasted for 43 minutes.
This is Sindhu’s first win after the break due to Kovid-19. Busnan defeated Saina Nehwal at the Yonex Thailand Open.
Busanan took a 13-8 lead in the first game. Sindhu however made a strong comeback from here and won the game.
In the second game, Busanan worked hard to beat Sindhu, but the Indian player made it to the second round, winning the game 21-17.
In the second round, Sindhu will face the winner of the match between Doha Hanny and Kisona Selavadure.
