Agra. The team of UP Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has expedited the work of Agra Metro. Four pillars are being piled on Fatehabad Road. The front cut of the TDI cargo has been closed due to piling from the rig machine. Preparations are on to close many more cuts of Fatehabad Road. These cuts are close to Basai Chowki. There is intermittent jam on both lanes.
The team of UPMRC will first construct three stations Taj Eastern Gate, Basai and Fatehabad station. Pillar is digging. An UPMRC official said that the team of engineers is working in three shifts.
Work to demolish PAC’s dilapidated buildings
The work of demolishing dilapidated buildings in the 15th PAC Battalion on Fatehabad Road has been expedited. A building has been broken so far. The UPMRC team has set a target of demolishing half a dozen buildings within a month.
Dozens of street light poles removed
Dozens of street lights on the dividers of Fatehabad Road have been removed. Two JCBs are engaged to break Pol’s base. 100 poles will be removed from Fatehabad Road.
Technical team investigating underground stations
UPMRC technical team is investigating Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Jama Masjid station. All three stations are underground. Stations are going to tender soon.
