Similarly in January 2001, the then Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee also honored him with Rotary International’s ‘Polio Eradication Champion Award’. On this occasion, Prime Minister Vajpayee honored him with the adjective ‘Swasthya Vardhan’.
