Lucknow. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed to speed up the process of recruitment of vacancies in all departments under the state government. Directing them to complete the recruitment process within the stipulated time, while conducting the recruitment process with complete transparency and fairness. He has directed Chief Secretary Rajendra Kumar Tiwari and Additional Chief Secretary Personnel Mukul Singhal to obtain authentic details of vacant posts from each department and submit it.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath held a review meeting with the presidents and officers of various recruitment institutions / commissions / boards at his government residence on Monday with the aim of speeding up the recruitment in Uttar Pradesh with transparency. He also served as Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, Dr. Prabhat Kumar, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission, Praveer Kumar, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Higher Education Service Commission, Prof. Eeshwar Sharan Vishwakarma, Uttar Pradesh Secondary Education Service Selection Board, Bireesh Kumar, After detailed talks with Dr. RK Vishwakarma, Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board and Chairman of Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Limited, Arvind Kumar got information about the current position of recruitments in these institutions.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the selection process for the vacant posts under these recruitment institutions should be completed in a transparent and time bound manner. While completing the examinations in time, their results should also be declared soon. Kovid-19 protocol and physical distance should be completely followed in the selection exams. He also warned the heads of recruitment institutions that there is no scope for any irregularity or negligence regarding the examinations. Selection exams should be conducted in a transparent manner with complete preparation.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed the officers to provide details of the vacant posts expeditiously and send them for the inquiry. He said that the state government is constantly making efforts to provide adequate jobs and employment opportunities to the youth of the state so that their future is bright. Expressing satisfaction over the employment of more than three lakh candidates in the last three years, he said that it is the intention of the state government to fill vacant posts in various departments at the earliest by selecting qualified and good candidates in a transparent manner.
At the meeting, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath was given details of the recruitments made in various departments during the last three years. He was told that the 1,37,253 recruitments made so far by the current government in relation to the vacant posts in the police department are many times more than the recruitments made between 2007 and 2017. Additional Chief Secretary Home Avnish Kumar Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary Finance Sanjeev Mittal, Director General of Police Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, Additional Chief Secretary Higher Education Monica Garg, Additional Chief Secretary Secondary Education Aradhana Shukla and other senior officers were also present in the meeting.
