After the cowardly terrorist attack in Pahalgam, India is now determined to teach Pakistan a lesson. India has taken strict action against the terrorist country. Many decisions were taken in the CCS meeting held at the Prime Minister’s residence on Wednesday (April 23, 2025), including decisions like stopping the Indus Water Treaty and stopping visas to Pakistanis.
Now a big statement has come from the BCCI on whether a cricket match will be played between India and Pakistan in the future or not. BCCI Vice President Rajiv Shukla has given a big statement on the Pahalgam terror attack. Expressing grief over this terrorist incident, he said that we are with the victims and condemn it.
When he was asked whether cricket should be played between India and Pakistan in the future or not? He said in clear words that we will do whatever our government says. We do not play bilateral series with Pakistan due to the attitude of the government and we will not play bilateral series with Pakistan in future also. When it comes to ICC events, we play because of the participation of the ICC.
When was the bilateral match played between India and Pakistan
The last bilateral limited overs (50 overs) series between the two teams was played in 2012-13, when Pakistan toured India. The Pakistani team came to play during the 2023 ODI World Cup.
