The Cannes premiere will kick off a world tour of screenings in major cities including London, New York and Los Angeles, taking the film to a larger audience. Earlier, Anil Kapoor, Fardeen Khan and Abhishek Bachchan starrer Om Jai Jagdish released in 2002.
On April 11, it was announced that the National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) has come on board as co-producer of Tanvi The Great. Talking about this collaboration, the veteran actor said, “Tanvi the Great is a film made with love by the finest talents of cinema. NFDC being a co-producer will strengthen our journey to take this powerful story to audiences across the world.” NFDC has previously produced films like ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro’, ‘Mirch Masala’, ‘The Making of Mahatma’, ‘Salaam Bombay’ and ‘Qissa’.
