Riyan Parag clashed with umpire
This matter is of the 7th over of Rajasthan Royals’ innings. The team had lost 2 wickets early, in such a situation, captain Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag took charge of Rajasthan. Kulwant Khejroliya was bowling in front and on the fourth ball of the over, Parag tried to walk the ball towards third-man but the ball went straight into the hands of the wicketkeeper. The ground umpire declared Parag out, but the Rajasthan batsman took DRS.
When Ultra Edge was used during DRS, a huge spike was seen in it. As a result, Riyan Parag was also declared out by the third-umpire. But the young batsman of Rajasthan was not happy with this decision. He said that the spike on the Ultra Edge did not come due to the ball-bat connection but due to the bat rubbing against the ground.
Riyan Parag has also been fined Rs 12 lakh earlier
In the first three matches of IPL 2025, Sanju Samson was coming to bat only as an impact player. In such a situation, Riyan Parag was captaining the Rajasthan team in his place. Meanwhile, RR captain Riyan Parag was fined Rs 12 lakh due to slow-over rate in the match against CSK.
