The broad daylight murder of Dainik Jagran journalist Raghavendra Bajpai in Imalia Sultanpur police station area of Sitapur district is extremely sad and punishable. The incident proves that criminals in Uttar Pradesh have become more powerful than the government. When the fourth pillar of democracy is being fired upon in broad daylight, what can be expected of the safety of common citizens?
Our demands from @UPGovt are that the culprits should be arrested soon and given the harshest punishment and a special law should be made for the safety of journalists.
According to the police, Raghvendra had left home after a phone call. And when he came towards Sitapur, he was murdered near Hempur Neri at around 3:15 pm. A case will be registered in this matter after receiving a complaint from the family.
