Hyderabad: After Alia and Rashmika Mandanna, Bollywood actress Vidya Balan has become the latest victim of an AI-generated deepfake video. She shared a note on social media, in which she warned her fans about her AI-generated video, which is also going viral on WhatsApp. She said that nothing said in the video should be ‘connected to them’.

In the video, Vidya Balan is heard saying, ‘Arre, main hun aap sabki favourite’. After which she warned her fans about it being fake by putting a big ‘scam alert’ stamp on it. The lip movements in the video also suggest that it is fabricated and not real.’ Vidya posted her AI generated video and wrote in the caption, ‘Many videos are currently going viral on social media and WhatsApp in which I am seen. However, I want to make it clear that these videos are created by AI and are not real. I have no involvement in its production or promotion, nor do I endorse its content in any way. Any claim made in the video should not be considered by me, as it does not reflect my views or work. I request everyone to know whether it is correct or not before giving this information and be cautious of this content created by AI.
These actors have also become victims of deepfake videos
This is not the first time that any celebrity has fallen victim to deepfake videos, before Vidya, many other Indian actors including Rashmika Mandana, Deepika Padukone, Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Ranveer Singh and Aamir Khan have fallen victim to deepfake videos.
Talking about work, Vidya Balan was last seen in the horror-comedy film ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. This film starring Kartik Aryan and Madhuri Dixit was a hit at the box office.
