A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Pratapgarh district of Uttar Pradesh. Here a mad lover burnt a woman alive in the middle of the road, in which she died a painful death. After the incident, the police reached the spot and took the woman’s body in custody and sent it for post-mortem. Police investigation has revealed that the woman used to teach in the village school and was to get married on March 2.
In Lauli village of Kohdaur police station area of Pratapgarh, a mad lover has committed the crime of burning a female teacher alive. It is being told that Neelu Yadav, a young woman from Lauli village, works as a teacher in CL Yadav School of the village itself. Like every day, she was going to school at around 9.30 am on the day of the incident. Before reaching the school, Vikas Yadav, a resident of Chandoka, Neelu’s maternal home, ambushed her on the way and set Neelu on fire by pouring petrol on her.
The crazy lover burnt the girl alive
Due to which Neelu was engulfed in flames and started running here and there to save her life, but Vikas was possessed by cruelty and the accused was not even letting her run away due to which he himself got burnt, while Neelu was completely burnt in the wheat field near the road and died. Hearing the flames and screams, the villagers also reached the spot, but by then everything was over.
Pour petrol and set her on fire
The deceased’s brother Aman Yadav said that Neelu used to live in Chandoka earlier, which was her maternal home. Aman completely rejected the love affair and said that Neelu was going to school like every day. During this time Vikas poured petrol on her and set her on fire. However, during this time Vikas himself also got caught in the fire. After the incident, the accused youth has been admitted to the hospital.
Forensic team collected evidence
As soon as the information about this incident was received, the local police reached the spot and seeing the gravity of the incident, the senior officers were also informed about the matter. After which CO City Shiv Narayan Vaishya reached the spot with the forensic team. Giving information about the incident, CO Shiv Narayan said that both the mobiles, a bottle containing inflammable substance and the boy’s bike have been recovered from the spot.
The boy has been sent for treatment and the girl’s body has been sent for post-mortem. He also told that the girl’s marriage was scheduled to take place in March, while the boy’s marriage took place in the month of November. Prima facie, this case seems to be a love affair.
