Rishi, who plays domestic cricket for Himachal Pradesh, made it clear in his post that he is retiring only from limited overs cricket. This means that he can be seen playing Ranji Trophy. Let us tell you that Rishi played white ball cricket for India. He made his international debut in 2016 and in the same year he was dropped from the team and could never make a place again. Rishi posted on retirement through social media and wrote, “With a heavy heart, although I have no regrets, I would like to announce my retirement from Indian cricket (limited overs). This is a game that has defined my life over the last 20 years. This game has given me immense joy and countless memories that will always be very close to my heart.”
He further thanked himself for the opportunities he got and wrote, “I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for the opportunities given to me by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA), Punjab Kings, Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.”

Rishi played 3 ODIs and 1 T20 International match for Team India. In ODIs, he scored 12 runs and took 1 wicket. Apart from this, in T20 International, he scored 1 run and took 1 wicket. Rishi made his international debut in January 2016 and played the last match of his international career in June 2016.
