Hyderabad: Allu Arjun has got interim bail from the High Court in the case of the death of a woman during the paid preview show of Pushpa 2. He was arrested today on 13 December in the case of the death of a woman in the stampede at Sandhya Theater. After which he was taken to Gandhi Hospital for medical test and in the hearing held at 4 pm in Nampally Court, he was sent to 14 days judicial custody. But now the High Court has granted interim bail to Allu Arjun.
Lawyer argued in SRK’s Raees film stampede case
Pushpa 2 actor’s lawyer Niranjan Reddy said in his argument, ‘Gujarat High Court dismissed Shahrukh Khan in Raees film promotion stampede case’. He said, ‘When Bandi Sanjay was arrested, the High Court stayed the remand’. Actually, after Allu Arjun’s medical test, he was taken to Nampally Court where his case was heard at 4 pm. After which he was sent to judicial custody for 14 days but now he has got interim bail from the High Court. Allu Arjun had filed a petition in the High Court after the allegations against him.
What is the whole matter
Allu Arjun’s most awaited Pushpa 2 was released in theaters on 5 December. Due to increasing demand, the makers ran paid previews on the night of 4 December, due to which a huge crowd gathered in the theaters. The same night Allu Arjun reached outside Sandhya Theater in Hyderabad, due to which the crowd went out of control and there was a stampede. Due to this, the police had to lathi charge where a woman who came to watch the film with her two children died. The woman’s son was seriously injured in the accident, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital. The family filed a case against Allu Arjun, after which today on 13 December, the police arrested Allu Arjun and took him away.
