Baghpat. In Luhari village, a young man killed his father by cutting him with a shovel due to property dispute and reached the police station. Police arrested him. 60-year-old Krishan Pal has two sons. The elder son works in Delhi while the younger son Harendra stays at home. Both are married. There was a property dispute going on in Krishan Pal’s house.
Harendra alleges that his father was not giving him his share in 35 bigha agricultural land and had also given the plot in Delhi to his elder brother. On Sunday night, Krishan Pal had gone to the tube well. Harendra also reached there and killed his father by hitting him on the head with a shovel.
After this, he came home and from there reached the police station and told the police that he had killed his father. Police arrested him. Inspector Manoj Kumar Chahal said that the shovel used in the murder has been recovered.
Father and son accused of killing constable’s father behind bars
In Mal Majra village, the accused father and son were produced in the court in the case of shooting and killing of UP police constable’s father Rameshpal by members of the same family over a feud. From where they were sent to jail.
In Mal Majra village, around 58-year-old Rameshpal son of Ranbir Singh was shot dead by Pramod and his son and other family members over a feud near his house while he was returning home on his bike at around 7 pm on Friday night. Rameshpal’s wife Munni had lodged a report against six people including Pramod son of Gaje Singh, his son Anuj, wife Pushpa, daughter Shalu, Anil alias Lilu son of Jeet Singh and Praveen son of Subodh.
Police arrested and interrogated
Inspector Kuldeep Sirohi said that accused Pramod and his son Anuj were arrested from Jivana Gate at around 8 pm on Saturday night. On the information given by Anuj, the pistol used in the murder was recovered from a hole in the wall near the tractor parked in his compound. During interrogation, both of them confessed to have committed the murder in protest against Rameshpal’s abuse and assault. Both were presented in the court, from where both were sent to the district jail. On the other hand, the four accused named in the incident are still absconding.
