The terror of wolves has increased so much in Uttar Pradesh that any wild animal seen is being mistaken for a wolf. A similar case has come to light from Mirzapur district, where the villagers mistook a hyena for a wolf and started making noise, after which the hyena hid in a nearby kutcha house. On the other hand, the forest department officials say that a hyena is not a violent animal.
The terror of wolves has increased so much in Uttar Pradesh that people are looking scared. Many people have died in incidents of wolf attacks one after the other in the state. Due to this, people are afraid of wolves. The latest case is from Kuhunki village of Sant Nagar police station area of Mirzapur district. Here a hyena came out of the forest and entered the village, then the villagers started shouting thinking it to be a wolf. After this, the hyena ran here and there in the village to save its life and entered a kutcha house.
Hyena hiding in a mud house
As soon as the hyena entered the mud house, the villagers surrounded it thinking it to be a wolf. During this, the villagers thought of attacking the hyena with sticks thinking it to be a wolf. After several hours of vigil, the villagers informed the forest department officials about the wild animal entering the village. As soon as the information about the incident was received, forest department officials reached the spot. At the same time, the team that reached the spot refuted the fact that the wolf was there and said that the hyena was inside the house.
Forest department team engaged in rescue
It is being told that Basant Kol, who lives outside the village, has built a mud house of his own. The hyena entered the mud house at around 1 pm on Thursday afternoon. At the same time, on the whole incident, the villagers say that the hyena should be caught in a cage and taken out of the village. The forest department team that reached on the information is trying to catch the hyena.
Ranger KK Singh, who arrived with the forest department team, is also engaged in the rescue. In the whole matter, DFO Arvind Raj Mishra said that there is no wolf inside the house, but a hyena. Arvind Raj Mishra said that a cage has been ordered from the headquarters. Soon the hyena will be rescued and left at a safe place.
