A female officer of HDFC Bank died in Lucknow under suspicious circumstances. While working in the office, she suddenly fainted and fell down from the chair. After this, the female employee was immediately taken to the hospital, where the doctors declared her dead. The police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
This female employee is a resident of Wazirganj. Sadaf Fatima’s age is said to be 45 years. She was posted as Additional Deputy Vice President in Vibhutikhand branch of Gomtinagar. Fatima was working in the office at around 3 pm on Tuesday, when suddenly she fainted and fell down from the chair.
Possibility of heart attack due to work pressure
The employees working in Fatima’s office said that there was a lot of pressure regarding work here. Due to this, she used to be very stressed, due to which this incident happened during work. However, no one has given any official statement regarding the matter. At the same time, no employee is ready to talk on this case. Everyone there says that all the work here is managed from Mumbai.
The cause of death will be known from the postmortem report
Regarding this matter, the police say that the real cause of death will be known only after the postmortem. Regarding the case, Inspector Vibhutikhand Sunil Singh said that the clear cause of death will be known after the postmortem. At present, the initial investigation has revealed a heart attack. At the same time, relatives have given their statement regarding this matter. They say that Fatima was taking medicine for something. At present, the family has not yet given any complaint letter in the matter.
In the case, deceased Fatima’s brother-in-law Mahzar told that she had blood pressure disease. Due to which her health had deteriorated three days ago. After this, she was taken to KGMC. After treatment there, she went to the office on Tuesday after taking leave from the office for three days.
Employees are losing their lives due to work pressure
26-year-old Anna Sebastian Perayil was a chartered accountant. She joined Pune-based EY company in March and died in July. The same claim is being made about her death that she died due to work pressure. Seeing the matter moving forward, Union Labor and Employment Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Monday sought information about the death of the EY employee. He said that the investigation of the case is going on and if necessary, action will be taken. We should not spare the mistake of the institute.
