Chandauli. Crime With Girl: A 17-year-old student of class XII was gang-raped by three cattle herders in Gahila Baba jungle on Thursday evening.
The police have registered a case on the complaint of the victim on Friday night and have taken two accused into custody, while one is being searched for.
Three boys have been accused
Chandauli Superintendent of Police Aditya Langhe said that three boys have been accused of rape. A case has been registered on the complaint of the victim. The girl had come to Gahila Baba temple on a bike with a young man for darshan-puja. Some distance away from the temple, three shepherds stopped their bike in the jungle and beat up the young man and tied him to a tree. They gang-raped the girl and fled.
Informed relatives about the incident
The girl freed the young man from bondage and went home and informed her relatives about the incident. On Friday, she gave a complaint to the police along with her father. CO Krishna Murari Sharma said that the girl has been medically examined. She has been admitted to the government hospital.
