Amroha. During the baraat, the DJ vehicle came in contact with the 11000 volt electricity line. Four children got burnt due to the electric current. The incident is of village Kasaipura of Rahra police station area. The baraat of Premvati, daughter of village resident farmer Gangaram, came from village Bhawali of the same police station area on Monday afternoon.
The baraat was going on after having dinner at around four in the evening. The columns of the DJ were kept on top of the DCM. While moving the DCM forward, the column collided with the wire of the 11000 volt line. Due to the electric current, the eight-year-old son Lavish of village resident Sonu Singh, four-year-old son Mudit of Munilal, four-year-old son Prince of Surendra Singh and five-year-old son Bhupendra of Manveer Singh got burnt. After the accident, there was a commotion in the ceremony.
What did CO Deep Kumar Pant say?
The burnt children have been admitted to different hospitals of Hasanpur in a hurry. On the other hand, after the accident, marriage ceremonies also stopped for some time. However, later the marriage rituals were completed with simplicity. CO Deep Kumar Pant said that four children were burnt due to electric shock. The entire matter is being investigated. However, no written complaint has been received in this regard yet.
