Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh has been put on high alert in view of the violence that erupted after stone pelting incident in Delhi’s Jahangirpuri area on Saturday on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. Police and administration officials have been instructed to be extra vigilant in all sensitive areas along with being fully prepared during various events in all the districts. Especially in NCR, there are strict instructions to be fully prepared in every corner.
ADG Law and Order Prashant Kumar says that all the police officers in the state have been instructed to remain vigilant in their respective areas and be constantly on the move. The intelligence system has also been alerted and instructions have also been given to collect all kinds of information and take full vigilance about them. So that peace and order is not affected anywhere. Taking every small incident very seriously, prompt action has been asked to keep a close watch on mischievous elements.
This is the whole matter: On Saturday, on the occasion of Hanuman’s birth anniversary, stones were pelted on the Shobha Yatra in Delhi. There was chaos over there. Another policeman along with Sub Inspector Madalal was also injured in stone pelting. Due to this stone-pelting, a mob of people set two vehicles on fire. In Jahangirpuri, after the clash between the two sides, a large number of police forces have been deployed to control the situation.
