Lucknow. Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was stopped at Lucknow’s Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport. When the security personnel stopped them, they sat on the dharna there. Although Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said that he is not going to Lakhimpur, Section 144 is imposed there, I have come for Lucknow. At the same time, when the security personnel referred him to the order, he sat on the floor. Despite the refusal of the Uttar Pradesh government, CM Bhupesh Baghel was going to meet the farmers in Lakhimupar.
Earlier, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel tweeted that I have left for Lucknow. There will be justice with the farmers. He said that no action has been taken against the culprits of (Lakhirpur Kheri). It is very unfortunate that leaders are celebrating ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ in the same state (Uttar Pradesh) where justice has been denied. Before celebrating the elixir of freedom, let us once again visit Lakhimpur.
TMC MP reached Kheri, raised questions on post-mortem process
Lakhimpur: After the violence in Lakhimpur, politics has intensified. A delegation of Trinamool Congress MPs also reached Kheri late on Monday night. The team of three MPs from Kolkata, Dola Sen, Pratima Mandal and Abir Ranjan Vishwas, led by state president Neeraj Rai went to see the Tikunia incident. On the other hand, the second team reached the post-mortem house in Lakhimpur to meet the family members of the killed farmers. Trinamool MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar questioned the post-mortem process itself. He said that the post-mortem of four dead bodies was done within an hour. He said that I am also a doctor and I know that according to the law, post-mortem can be done only when the sun is there. Postmortem cannot be done in the dark. There is a different method of post-mortem. He said that where there is oppression, there will always be opponents. He has the right to meet family members. He also questioned the law and order situation in Uttar Pradesh. On the other hand, Sushmita Dev said that whenever such an incident happens in Uttar Pradesh, first of all, the government bans meeting the family members. The same happened in the Hathras incident and the same attitude of the government was seen in the Lakhimpur incident as well.
