Noida. A doctor living in Jhanjharola village of Farrukhnagar, Gurugram had consumed a poisonous substance on August 25 last month. He died the next day during treatment at the hospital. After 15 days of death, now the relatives have found his suicide note from a suitcase of the doctor. According to family members, it has been written that the doctor had committed suicide due to pressure from the wife and her family members.
On the complaint of the father of the deceased, the police have registered a case against the doctor’s wife, his mother, aunt and aunt. However, the police is now ascertaining what pressure was being exerted on the deceased by these people.
In the complaint given to the Farrukhnagar police station, Om Singh, a resident of Jhanjharola, told that he has a daughter and a son. Both are married. Son Ravindra was married on 24 January 2015 to Manisha, a resident of Alwar, Rajasthan. Ravindra had done BAMS and was a doctor in a private hospital. He told the police that on August 25, his son had consumed some poisonous substance. The next day he died in the hospital.
At that time he had not spoken of any action against anyone. Now he told that he has got a copy from his son’s suitcase, in which suicide note is written. It is written in it that I, Ravindra, declare in my full senses that I am committing suicide under the pressure of my in-laws. Wife Manisha, her aunt Suman, her maternal uncle Surat Singh and her mother Kamlesh Devi are to be held responsible for my death. I am taking this step out of trouble.
The father of the deceased has given a suicide notice to the police and has registered a case against four members of his family including his daughter-in-law for abetting his son’s suicide. Police is probing it.
