Noida. In the case of death of a newly married woman living in the Thana Phase-3 area of Noida, adjacent to the capital Delhi, her father has filed a case of dowry murder against four people including her husband. The police have arrested three people including the husband.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone II) Ankur Aggarwal said that Vinod Kumar Rai, who lived in Garhi Chaukhandi village, was married to Rani two months ago. He told that on July 12, Rani hanged herself and was admitted in a critical condition to the district hospital in Noida where she died.
Additional Deputy Commissioner said that in this case, the father of the deceased, Ramjilal, has registered a case of dowry murder against four people including her husband Vinod Rai, father-in-law Suresh Rai and mother-in-law Sarita Rai in police station Phase-3. He said that the police probing the case arrested Suresh, Vinod and Sarita on Wednesday. Additional Deputy Commissioner said that the three accused were produced in the court, from where they have been sent to 14 days judicial custody.
