Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath had already welcomed the Bhoomi Pujan for the Ram temple in Ayodhya and now Congress leaders discussed the Ram temple issue and some leaders in a strategic meeting convened by Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi of Uttar Pradesh leaders. Also expressed its views on this. Sources said that leaders like Jitin Prasad, who is campaigning for the unity of Brahmins in Uttar Pradesh, said in the meeting that everyone should welcome the construction of the temple.
When contacted, Jitin Prasad refused to say anything about the meeting, but said, “The Congress party has already welcomed the construction of the Ram temple. It is a faith for every Hindu and for me personally. The theme is. I am happy that the Ram temple is being constructed. ”
But some other leaders have said that the Congress has already welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court. Sources said that leaders like Pramod Tiwari said that the party should be confined to the decision of the Supreme Court, which the party has already welcomed.
At a strategic meeting of the UP Congress organized in a virtual manner by Priyanka Gandhi earlier this week, the leaders suggested that they should thank the country for all respectfully accepting the decision of the Supreme Court.
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath had earlier said, “I welcome the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. The citizens of the country were waiting for it. The temple is being constructed with the consent of every citizen, it is possible only in India. . ”
It is noteworthy that the Congress had welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court, through which the way of temple construction has been cleared. The party has also welcomed the construction of the temple and said that there should be no dispute over the guest list for Bhoomi Pujan and it is the right of the trust to whom it wants to invite.
A program of Bhoomi Pujan is proposed on August 5 for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.
In response to a question, Congress spokesperson Jayveer Shergill said on Friday that “the Indian National Congress welcomes the Supreme Court’s decision, paving the way for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.”
