Noida . Additional Chief Secretary Medical Health and Family Welfare Amit Mohan Prasad arrived on Tuesday morning to inspect the 400-bed Kovid Hospital in the new district hospital in Noida Sector-39. The hospital has been constructed under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on behalf of the Tata company. The hospital is of Level-1, 2 and 3 category. Here, normal and serious patients will be admitted and treatment will be provided. Additional Chief Secretary told the media that soon after the inspection, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will inaugurate the hospital through video conferencing from Lucknow.
Hospital will be equipped with many features
Additional Chief Secretary Health arrived at the hospital on Tuesday morning to inspect the hospital. Here, he was welcomed by District Magistrate Suhas LY, Greno Authority CEO Narendra Bhushan, CMO in-charge Dr. Nepal Singh, CMS Dr. VB Dhaka. After this, he went to inspect the Level 3 Kovid ward directly on the 5th and 6th floors. After the inspection, he held a meeting with the district administration and health officials regarding the growing cases of corona infection. According to information received from the sources, in the meeting, he has given many necessary guidelines to the health authorities.
The hospital has been constructed by the Noida Authority, while all the facilities of Kovid have been provided by the Tata group and the Billgate Foundation. The hospital will be equipped with all facilities of Kovid. It is worth mentioning that earlier the Chief Minister had plans to come to Noida and inaugurate the hospital, but due to lack of time, this program could not be successful. Therefore, from the government level, Additional Chief Secretary Health has been sent to Noida for inspection of Kovid Hospital.
Was supposed to begin on June 15
Kovid Hospital was earlier expected to start on June 15, but work started late due to not being handed over by the Noida Authority. Resources have been mobilized in the hospital at a cost of about 17 crores by Tata Group and Bilgade Foundation. Where oxygen facility will be available from ventilator. It will be the largest Kovid hospital in the district. Currently Child PGI has 50 beds, 150 beds in Greno State Institute of Medical Sciences (JIMS). Duty of about 100 health workers will be put here. For this, the Health Department has prepared a list of doctors. All the doctors have connections with various CHC-PHCs of the district.
