His shelter and close relatives are now under the police’s target after Vikas Dubey, a history-sheeter from Chaubepur police station in Kanpur, was killed in an encounter in Kanpur on his return from Ujjain on Friday. In the filed of investigation of the state government, the arms of his and close ones and their licenses are there. Vikas Dubey, with a prize of five lakh, kept 12-14 with him. Most of these licenses were made in the name of others. DGP Hitesh Chandra Awasthi has called for the license of such realities. Along with this, in Bikaru village of Vikas Dubey, the police has started a big arms search operation.
After the encounter of five lakh prize winner Dubey, now the Uttar Pradesh Police is eyeing its weapons. Along with the weapons recovered from his house, the weapons and his license of those who give him refuge will be examined. The DGP headquarters has sought a report regarding the cancellation of all these arms licenses. Vikas Dubey had made weapons licenses of many people on the basis of political clout in Kanpur.
All these were also used by Dubey for development. These realities found from him are revolvers in the name of Vishnupal son Devi Lal and double barrel gun (named in the case), double barrel gun (arrested) in the name of Jahan Yadav son Gendalal Yadav, single barrel gun in the name of Dayashankar son Shyam Narayan (arrested ), Alok Putra Madanlal has a double barrel gun.
Apart from this, a double barrel gun (named) in the name of Ram Singh Putra Chhote Lal, double barrel gun in the name of Srikanth Putra Baban Shukla, rifle in the name of Yadavindra Putra Gendalal, double barrel in the name of Rajan Putra Jillledar, rifle in the name of Deepak Putra Ramkumar, and Anjali Dubey. His wife Deepak Dubey holds a license for a revolver. Arms licenses of all these have been summoned.
Policemen search for weapons in Bikaru village
Police are constantly searching in Bikaru village after Vikas Dubey’s encounter. Now the police are going to the house of all the people of the village and asking them to deposit the weapons of the police party. It is getting profitable for this. The police is saying that those who have weapons of the policemen, submit them, otherwise strict action will be taken against them.
Munadi is being made that whoever has the weapons of the policemen, inform them and submit them to the police. Otherwise legal action will be taken against him. The police went to Dabish in Bikaru on the night of 2-3 July. In this, Vikas Dubey and his operatives attacked the police team and killed eight policemen including CO. Three pistols in the missing arms of the police have been recovered. Search is now on for robbed AK-47 and INSAS rifle.
