Srinagar . Two militants were killed by the army on Saturday in Naugam sector of North Kashmir. They were trying to infiltrate from across the LoC. The army said that after the suspicious movements were detected near the Line of Control (LoC), the soldiers ambushed and attacked.
In the subsequent encounter, two terrorists were killed. Arms and ammunition, including two AK-47 rifles, were recovered.
The army continued, “Early in the morning, suspicious activities were detected in the Naugam sector of Handwara in Kupwara district near the LoC. Security forces carried out a fast ambush that killed two terrorists. Two more, including two AK-47s. Weapons were recovered. “
