According to Indian Army sources, the Chinese Army has been seen retreating more than a kilometer from Petroling Point-14 in Galvan Valley. Similarly, this sequence has also been released from Gogra Hot Spring. However, it is difficult to say how much the Chinese army has fallen behind.

30,00 Indian soldiers deployed in Ladakh
On the other hand, the Indian Army has deployed around 30,000 personnel in Ladakh amid tensions between the two countries with China continuing to escalate along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). India has deployed three additional brigades after a violent clash between the soldiers of the two countries last month. Sources said that about 10,000 soldiers from three additional brigades have been brought in from Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh. There are currently 3 divisions of the Army under 14 Corps Command on LAC. It is the largest army corps in India, established in 1962 during the war with China.
