The government has given the three armies a free hand to give a befitting reply to every tactic of China. According to sources, after a meeting of Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) General Bipin Rawat and the three Army Chiefs with Defense Minister Rajnath Singh to review the situation on Sunday, several important decisions were taken in this regard. The most important decision in this is that the postleaders have been allowed to use weapons in unexpected situations. India, of course, has indicated a withdrawal from the policy between the two armies for decades not to use guns.
The ground situation, under the leadership of the Defense Minister, is being reviewed daily in New Delhi since the Hint clash between Indian and Chinese forces in the Galvan Valley on 15 June. On Sunday, the Defense Minister reviewed the situation on all the sensitive fronts of LAC in East Ladakh as well as Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.

Chief of Army Staff General MM Narwane, Navy Chief Admiral Karambir Singh and Chief of Air Staff Mangal RKS Bhadauria were present in the meeting with CDS General Bipin Rawat. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh told the three army chiefs that every movement from China will be closely monitored. Sources said that in view of the incident in Galvan Valley, it has been decided to withdraw from the policy of not using weapons in the event of a confrontation.
