Kushinagar. The teacher raped a student in college. When the video related to the incident went viral, the relatives came to know about it and reached the police station. The police registered a case and arrested the accused teacher. The case is related to two communities, due to which a tense situation prevails.
The student studying in 12th went to college on Monday. Before the school was over, the accused teacher asked her to come to the scout’s room. When the student reached there, the accused closed the door and raped her and threatened to kill her if she complained. Scared by the threat, the student did not inform her relatives about the act done with her. When the video started circulating on social media at around 8:30 pm, the relatives came to know about the incident.
In the video of more than four minutes, the teacher is seen in an objectionable position with the student. The student is in school dress. Both are in a room of the college. Through the video, the accused teacher was identified as Mainuddin Ansari. Mainuddin is the district vice-president of the UP Secondary Teachers Association and the Purvanchal in-charge of the All India Momin Ansar Sabha. After registering a case against the accused, the police went to his house and found it locked. People living nearby said that the relatives left for some place in the evening.
Late night, the police arrested the accused from near Vadipul in Kasya area. In the morning, many parents started protesting in front of the college and demanded the dismissal of the accused teacher. DIOS Shravan Gupta, SDM Paritosh Mishra, CO Kundan Kumar Singh reached the college and took information. DIOS said that the accused teacher and the principal have been suspended and the investigation has been handed over to a three-member team.
