Lucknow. Two students were murdered by slitting their throats with a sickle near Nadwa bridge in Kakori on Friday night and their bodies were thrown on the road. Passersby saw the bodies and informed the police. Villagers protested, but the police sent the bodies for post-mortem.
Teams deployed to arrest the accused
In the case, DCP West Vishwajeet Srivastava said that teams have been deployed to arrest the accused. Initial investigation suggests a rivalry. At present, investigation is being done on all points.
25-year-old Manoj and 26-year-old Rohit have been murdered
Police said that 25-year-old Manoj and 26-year-old Rohit have been murdered. Both are residents of Pankheda village in Kakori. Manoj was preparing for ITI and Rohit for railways. Investigation revealed that both got ready in the evening and left on the same bike saying that they were going to a party. Just five kilometers away from home, an unknown person brutally murdered both of them. When people passing by saw this, they stopped and informed the police with the help of nearby people. Villagers gathered before the police arrived.
DCP, ADCP on the spot
DCP, ADCP, ACP, Inspector Kakori, Para, Manaknagar and police force from five nearby police stations reached the spot. The police force tried to take the body in their custody, but the villagers started protesting. Police somehow took the body in their custody and sent it for postmortem.
Initial investigation reveals that someone called him for a meeting and then killed him. Rohit’s family consists of father Ramesh Chandra, mother and four brothers. Manoj’s family consists of father Rameshwar, mother and two brothers. Many teams have been deployed to uncover the incident.
Wrists of both hands of Manoj were cut
Police said that looking at both the bodies, it seems that they have struggled a lot. Only the throat of one was slit. Whereas, the throat of the other was slit and the wrists of both hands were cut. Not only this, even shirts were not found on the bodies of both.
The issue of love affair or land dispute is coming to the fore
The police said that the way the murder has been committed, it is quite clear that the murder has been done due to enmity. Investigation is being done on two points, first love affair and second land dispute. It seems that both were called to meet and then murdered.
