There is outrage across the country against Mahant Mahamandaleshwar Yeti Narsinghanand Saraswati of Dasna temple, who made controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad. People of the Muslim community have come out on the streets demanding his arrest. Protests are being held in many cities of the country including Ghaziabad Meerut in Uttar Pradesh. Meanwhile, a statement has come from Samajwadi Party MP Iqra Hasan from Kairana Lok Sabha seat, in which she has expressed displeasure over Narsinghanand’s remarks and demanded strict action against him.
MP Iqra Hasan has termed Narsinghanand as hateful and hypocrite and has demanded action against him under NSA and UAPA. She has registered her protest by releasing a video. This video of her is becoming very viral on social media. She said that Yeti Narsinghanand has insulted the Prophet, which will not be tolerated.
Iqra Hasan called Narsinghanand a hypocrite
The SP MP said that hypocritical people like Yeti Narsinghanand have once again spewed the poison of hatred with their tongue. He has insulted the Prophet, which will not be tolerated. Hasan said that the Prophet had brought the message of mercy and peace to the world, Narsinghanand is insulting him with his dirty language, which is intolerable for every peace-loving Indian, whether Hindu or Muslim.
‘Action should be taken under hate speech, UAPA, NSA’
Further, she said that Narsinghanand escapes the law every time by sowing the seeds of hatred with his tongue, because the state governments are not performing their duties with honesty. Iqra Hasan said that she wants to tell the central government and state governments that now their indecisive attitude will not work. He said that no superficial action should be taken against Yeti Narasimhanand and such hateful hypocrites, but action should be taken against them under serious sections of hate speech, UAPA, NSA, so that it can become an example and no one can dare to do such a thing again.
‘We will not sit silent’
MP Iqra Hasan clearly said that if action is not taken against Yeti Narasimhanand, then he will take every possible action in Parliament and Supreme Court and register his protest, he said that we will take the right to live with our heads held high given to us by the Constitution and will never sit silent.
Asaduddin Owaisi also demanded action
Earlier, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi had also expressed displeasure over the remarks made against Prophet Mohammad and demanded the arrest of Yeti Narasimhanand Saraswati. Last Saturday, he had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should take immediate action against Yeti Narasimhanand for hurting the sentiments of Muslims. Owaisi said that such incidents will harm the country’s reputation at the international level.

Actually, Yeti Narasimhanand had made objectionable remarks about a particular religion in a program organized on September 29 in Lohianagar, Ghaziabad. People of the Muslim community are angry over this. Narasimhanand had made controversial remarks against Prophet Mohammad, saying that the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna and Meghnad should not be burnt on Dussehra.
