A B-Tech student was locked in the first room by the hostel in-charge in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Then he was brutally beaten. It is reported that both the parties had a dispute over vacating the hostel. The hostel in-charge was angry about this. In this anger, he resorted to fighting.

The case is of Lavi Hostel on Ajhai Highway in Jaint police station area. Kirti Sengar, a B-Tech student from a private university, was staying in the hostel.
She said, “I am originally from district Hathras. I have been staying in this lovely girls hostel since August 2022. But on Tuesday (September 17) evening, she was shifting to another place after vacating the hostel and calculating. That’s when Warden Ruby, who was staying there, commented on her. I replied to him. The hostel owner and the warden were all angry with me. They attacked me.
‘Friends came to the rescue’
The victim said, ‘I heard about it earlier. Then the matter escalated. Hostel in-charge Jaipal, his brother and warden Ruby closed the door of the room and started beating me. I was alone and those three people. I started screaming and screaming for help. Then my friend Mohini, Astha, Khushi and other girls from the hostel arrived. She was also shocked to see all this. But he still saved me anyway.’
FIR against three persons
A girl present also made a video of the incident. The victim informed the family members and the relatives reached the spot. By then, the video had also gone viral on social media. The girl and her relatives reached the police station and registered a case against the accused. The police station in-charge said that a case has been registered against three persons on the complaint of the girl. We also have viral videos. He is being investigated. Action will be taken against the accused.
