The benefit of this scheme of free ration, which runs on per unit i.e. per person basis, is being given to the families of those people even after death. At the same time, many people are also included in this list who have more land than the prescribed amount, yet they are taking benefit from this scheme.
According to the information, the government has sent the list of eligible beneficiaries of Garib Kalyan Yojana to the Supply Department. In which this big revelation has been made. After the release of this list, there is a stir in the entire government department. Everyone has only one question that how did this happen. According to the new list, the supply department is also giving ration to 2440 such people who are no longer alive. At the same time, there are 8911 such people who have more than 2 hectares of land, yet they are taking advantage of this scheme.
The limit was crossed when it was found out that the names of 5220 such beneficiaries are included in this scheme whose families also file income tax. Even after this, they remain the beneficiaries of the free ration scheme. According to the information, a total of 756 ration shops are being run in the district. In which ration is given to 345000 ration card holders. In these, Antyodaya card and eligible household card holders are given free ration.
In the circle of free ration, many people are in the process of getting their name added under this scheme. In such a situation, now the facility of KYC has been implemented by the government. Due to this, different types of scams happening in the scheme are being caught. Recently, a list of eligible people has been sent by the government to the department in which these big revelations have been made. At the same time, DSO Nilesh Utpal said that the list has been received from the government. Some people in the list are ineligible and some people have died. In such a situation, the list is being verified, after which appropriate action will be taken.
