Barsana. A video of a wedding ceremony at Radha Rani temple started going viral on social media on Monday evening. In the evening itself, a devotee family from Delhi had decorated the temple and offered Chhappan Bhog. In the viral video late in the evening, the wedding ceremony of a young man and a girl started amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. People’s anger erupted on social media in a short while over this. Praveen Goswami, a member of the temple’s receiver committee, reached the spot and stopped the wedding ceremony.
The spokesperson said it was inappropriate
Brajacharya Peeth spokesperson Ghanshyam Raj Bhatt said that the temple is a center of faith and devotion, but now it has become a place for birthday and wedding ceremonies. This is absolutely inappropriate.
On the other hand, Praveen Goswami said that he had received information about the wedding, when he reached the spot, he came to know that the ring ceremony had taken place, the boy and the girl also garlanded each other. The program has been stopped immediately. An investigation is being conducted to find out how this program took place.
