Team India, led by Shubman Gill, defeated Zimbabwe in the second T20. After losing the first match, the young Team India won the second match by 100 runs. After this victory, Shubman Gill’s reaction was quite interesting. Gill talked about the victory as well as the defeat in the first match. He said that it was good to have pressure in the first match. So let’s know what Gill said after the victory in the second T20.
After winning the second T20, Gill said in the match presentation, “Very happy. It is good to be on a winning note again. The way Abhishek and Rituraj batted, it was not easy especially in the powerplay. The ball was moving but Abhishek and Rituraj built the innings. Yesterday, it was about not being able to withstand the pressure. This is a young team and most of them are new to international cricket.”
He further said, “It was really good to have pressure in the first match and we knew what to expect in this match. We have three matches and we are looking forward to them. It is good to have more options rather than not having any options.”
