A poultry van was looted on June 4 in Basti district of Uttar Pradesh. The criminals fled with all the chickens kept in the poultry van. Now the police have arrested seven robbers who carried out the crime. A police officer said that all are being questioned.
All seven criminals are from Gonda, whose names are Bablu Ahmed, Vijendra Tiwari, Rizwan alias Raju, Haider Ali, Mohammad Afsar, Santosh Kumar and Islam Ahmed. A police officer said that the arrested criminals used to commit robbery in the areas around Gonda. Many cases are registered against all of them. Two pickups, a Scorpio, a Bolero, a pistol and 02 cartridges have been recovered from the criminals.
Mobile was also snatched
According to a police officer, on June 8, Durga Prasad Shukla of Dharoli Pure had given a written application to the Cantonment Police that on the way to Faizabad, before the cantonment, unknown miscreants overtook his pickup in a black Scorpio without number plate. Then they forcibly made him and the driver sit in the Scorpio. They also snatched their mobiles. After this, they fled after taking the pickup in their possession.
The robbers had a chicken party
The criminals told the police that on June 4, they looted a pickup loaded with chickens near the cantonment. They snatched the mobiles of the driver and the helper and crushed them and threw the mobiles in the Saryu river. After this, they left the pickup on the roadside in front of Surya Palace Ayodhya and went away. The criminals told that they first had a chicken party with the looted chickens. After this, the chickens that were left were sold in the market. Whatever money was left after selling them, they spent it on food and drinks. Only Rs 40,000 was left, which has been recovered by the police.
