A painful incident has come to light from Unnao, Uttar Pradesh. Where a woman, upset with her in-laws, poisoned her two sons. Then he himself committed suicide by hanging himself. It is being told that the younger son has died and the elder son is undergoing treatment in the hospital. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot, took possession of the dead bodies, sent them for post-mortem and started investigating the case. The family members of the deceased have filed a case against the in-laws.
This incident happened in Patkapur village of Kotwali area. The woman living here, fed up with her in-laws, poisoned her two innocent sons and then committed suicide by hanging herself. There was mourning in the family after this incident. The woman and her younger son died and the elder son is undergoing treatment in Halat, Kanpur. Based on the complaint of the deceased’s father, the police have registered a case of abetment to suicide against four people including brother-in-law and sister-in-law.
Woman commits suicide after poisoning her sons
Shiv Shankar, a resident of Chikandarpur village of Bihar police station area, told that he had received a call from his daughter’s in-laws that his daughter had hanged herself. When they reached there, they told them that your daughter had hanged herself after feeding poisonous substance to 9-year-old Sudhir and 12-year-old elder son Ansh. All three were immediately admitted to the hospital. The woman and her younger son Sudhir have died and seeing the serious condition of the elder son, the doctors of the hospital have referred him to Kanpur Halt. Where her treatment is going on.
The deceased’s father Shankar told the police that he had married his daughter to Sant Kumar 13 years ago. But he died due to illness. After the death of her son-in-law, her in-laws started beating and abusing her daughter. Fed up with the harassment from her in-laws, her daughter had to take this step.
Police registered a case against in-laws
In this case, CO Sadar Sonam Singh has told that 32-year-old Somwati, resident of village Patkapur, committed suicide by hanging herself in the house after feeding poisonous substance to her two children. In which his younger daughter died. The elder son is undergoing treatment in Kanpur Halt, his condition is somewhat stable. Based on the complaint of the deceased’s father, a case has been registered and further investigation is being done. Further action will be taken accordingly.
