Auraiya. On Friday afternoon, a boy was caught on charges of stealing from a medical store, tied with a rope and beaten. He was injured by this. The police have registered a case and arrested the five accused.
Kaushish, ten year old son of Amit Kumar, resident of Taharpur locality of Phaphund, entered the medical store of Masir, resident of Jogian town on Wednesday afternoon. He stole Rs 15,000 from there. Masir was not at the medical store at that time.
After some time, when he reached the medical store, he found less money in the piggy bank. After seeing the CCTV camera footage, they recognized the child and caught him from the locality itself. After this he was tied with a rope and beaten. He was injured by this. Someone made a video of this and circulated it on the internet media.
The police took cognizance of this and registered a case against Tariq, Masir, Atul Rathore, Khaliq and Aafak, residents of Mohalla Jogian, on Amit’s complaint. The police immediately raided and arrested the accused and got the child medically examined. CO Ajitmal Pradeep Kumar said that all the accused have been arrested. The case is being investigated.
