Nindura (Barabanki): A laborer working at a kiln in Buddhu Purva of Ghunghter murdered his wife by hitting her multiple times with a shovel late in the night on suspicion of illicit relations. SP Dinesh Kumar, CO, Police Station Head and forensic team reached the spot. The police have detained the accused husband. The woman was hit several times on the face, due to which the body got mutilated.
Motilal Chauhan of village Salarpur under Kotwali Mahmudabad of Sitapur used to work as a bricklayer along with his wife Rajni Chauhan at Meena Brick Field located in Buddhu Purva of Ghunghter. There was a dispute between husband and wife over some issue late on Sunday night. The dispute escalated so much that husband Motilal hit his wife several times on the head with a shovel kept nearby. The woman fell on the spot bleeding.
Hearing the screams of the woman, nearby people reached the spot and informed the police about the matter. The police took the woman to the district hospital, where doctors declared her dead. On the other hand, as soon as information about the incident was received, SP, CO and forensic team reached the spot.
