Gagalhedi. A fire broke out due to a gas pipeline burst in a pharmaceutical factory near village Kumharhera on Dehradun Road. There was chaos after the fire that broke out at 5 pm on Friday, in which five workers got burnt. On information, the fire department and police reached the spot and admitted the injured to the district hospital. Some injured have been discharged after minor treatment. No written complaint has been given to the police in this matter yet, due to which the case has not been registered yet.
Actually, film actress Kainat Arora’s uncle KL Arora has a medicine factory in the name of Aerosol Pharmaceuticals Pvt. Ltd. on Dehradun Road. Here a spray is prepared for the wounds in the body of animals. Apart from this, other medicines are also made. More than 30 laborers were working here around 5 pm on Friday evening. At the same time suddenly the spray pipe of the factory burst and caught fire. Laborers working here, Savita wife Hiralal, Kashmiri wife Omprakash resident Kailashpur, Rajesh Kumari wife Shyam Singh resident Sadak Dudhli, Shakuntala wife Vijay Kumar resident Gagalhedi, Abhishek Pandey son Vijay Pandey resident Janakpuri Saharanpur got minor burn injuries.
On receiving information about the fire, three fire tenders and Gagalhedi police station in-charge Sunil Nagar reached the spot. The fire was brought under control after about an hour. However, people say that by the time the fire brigade arrived, the fire was brought under control with the help of the factory equipment itself. Gagalhedi police station in-charge Sunil Nagar said that five people were burnt in the accident. No one suffered more than 20 percent burns.
Media persons were not allowed inside the factory
In fact, when the fire broke out in the factory, media persons also reached the spot. Factory owner KL Arora closed the main gate and did not allow any media person to enter. It has been told that complete fire extinguishing equipment has been found in the factory. Despite this, the fire department team has started investigation in this matter. Till now no complaint has been given to the police on behalf of any burnt labourer.
