Bhamora. The police kept suppressing the issue of farmer Santosh Sharma’s death for seven hours. This was when the family members were confirming the death of Santosh since ten in the morning but the police were not ready to accept this. It was said that he was on ventilator and his condition was critical. The hospital management kept the information under pressure from the police.
Santosh’s death was confirmed at 5 pm following the suspension of the policemen involved in the entire incident and the filing of an FIR. All this action was to stop the anger of the family members, but when Bhamora police reached Narayan Hospital, the anger of the family members erupted. There was a lot of uproar and an altercation with the policemen. Meanwhile, seeing the all-round tightening of screws on themselves, the suspended policemen locked the post and ran away.
This is the whole matter
The whole incident had created a stir since Friday morning. Police said that on Wednesday night, the team of Sardarnagar police post of Bhamora police station had gone to Alampur Jafrabad village to catch gambling, in which one person Santosh was injured. Santosh was admitted to the hospital.
Meanwhile, Santosh’s brother Krishna Kumar Sharma rejected this argument of the police. Accordingly, ambulance driver Vijay, Inspector Tinku Kumar, Naipal Singh, constable Deepak, Pushpendra Rana, Manoj and Ankit were accused of murder, after which the officers came on the backfoot and quickly took action against the policemen involved in the entire incident.
SP Dehat reached the victim’s house
Angered by the incident, SP Dehat Mukesh Chandra Mishra himself reached the victim’s house to ensure that no uncomfortable situation arises in the village. Reached the spot and assured all possible action in the entire matter. Considering the situation, force was also deployed in the village as a precautionary measure.
There was an uproar at the hospital
Here, when Bhamora police station in-charge Parameshwari reached Narayan Hospital with the force, an uproar broke out. Seeing the situation worsening, forces from all three police stations of the city and COs of all three circles were sent to the hospital. Somehow the relatives calmed down. The working style of the police station in-charge is also under question in the entire incident.
Post mortem between panel and videography
Santosh’s post mortem report is most important in the case, due to which post mortem preparations were done between the panel and videography. Not only this, to ensure that there is no dispute at the post-mortem house, forces from the police station and nearby police stations were deployed.
The family was busy preparing for Diwali.
Before the incident, like every family, Santosh’s family members were also busy in preparations for Diwali, but on Friday, the news of his death shattered everyone’s feet. There was an atmosphere of mourning in the house. Hearing the screams, the people of the village also gathered. Everyone was cursing the policemen.
Santosh used to raise his family by farming on 10 bighas of land.
Laxman Prasad has four sons, Santosh Sharma, Kallu Sharma, Kanhaiya Lal Sharma and Rakesh Sharma. Laxman Prasad had 40 bighas of land in his name. After his death, all four brothers got 10 bighas of land each. Santosh used to raise his children by working hard day and night on 10 bighas of land.
Santosh’s elderly mother Kamla Devi said that the son was very hardworking. He took great care of the children. Now he has his wife Suman, elder son Suraj and younger son Rahul at home. Daughter Kiran is married.
Seven policemen have been suspended in the entire matter. On the basis of the complaint letter, an FIR for murder has been registered against the ambulance driver, policemen and unknown persons. Based on the post mortem report and evidence, further legal action will be taken in the case.

Discussion- Gamblers were released after collecting money
There is another discussion in the village after the whole incident. According to the people of the village, the police collected lakhs of rupees from the gamblers and released them. After this, the farmers started demanding money by calling Santosh a gambler. When he described himself as a farmer, the police was displeased and his audacity increased. As a result, Santosh died. This whole matter spread sensation till Lucknow. A report has also been summoned from the officers in the entire matter.
