A video of Dr. Rakesh Singh is becoming increasingly viral on social media, in which he is seen hitting a student in the middle of the road with a stick. There is anger among the students of Allahabad University after the video went viral. That Dr. Rakesh Singh is demanding action.
The Arts Faculty of Allahabad University became an arena of uproar today. This uproar started when some students who were going to appear in the M.A. English examination going on in the university were stopped by the administrative officials of the university. During the ongoing clash between students and administrative officials, student leaders of some organizations also arrived. On receiving information about the uproar, Chief Proctor Dr. Rakesh Singh also reached the spot.
Chief Proctor beats student with stick
While talking to the students, Dr. Rakesh Singh got into an altercation with a student. The altercation escalated to such an extent that the policemen deployed there had to intervene. However, even the intervention of policemen did not help. Chief Proctor Dr. Rakesh Singh himself took up the stick and beat a student severely on the road. During this time, some student made a video of Chief Proctor Dr. Rakesh Singh and made it viral on social media.
Students demand action against Chief Proctor
After the video went viral, there was anger among the students of Allahabad University. Students are demanding action against Chief Proctor Dr. Rakesh Singh. Sanjay Tiwari, former student union president of Allahabad University, said that this lathicharge took place in front of police officers and policemen. The police remained as spectators there. Didn’t even try to stop Dr. Rakesh Singh. On the contrary, the police have detained only a few students.
