Kanpur. Even after 12 days, no report was filed against a teacher of a school in Cantt for forcing a Class 10 student to have sexual intercourse and for religious conversion.
Accusing the police of not providing justice, the victim’s father has reached the District Magistrate’s office and threatened to remove the sacred thread and cut the shikha (peak).
The victim’s father, resident of Unnao, alleges that the teacher was forcibly chatting with his son and pressurizing him to have sexual relations and convert. The teacher’s husband and her brother are also included in this.
The teacher got the child’s hair cut
In school, the teacher also got her son’s hair cut. Even after 12 days of the complaint, the police have not yet registered a case in the name of investigation. The police is pressurizing the family to compromise. In protest against this, the victim’s family reached the District Magistrate’s office on Saturday to remove the sacred thread and cut the shikha.
The family returned after not being able to meet the DM. The student’s father circulated a video on the internet media saying that if he did not get justice, he would remove the sacred thread and cut the shikha. The school principal says that the teacher and her husband have been suspended from the school. She will be kept in school only if she is proved right in the police investigation.
ACP Cantt Vraj Narayan Singh said that investigation is being done by taking evidence from the relatives of the teacher and the student. At present the allegations of religious conversion have not been confirmed in the investigation.
