Bareilly. Custom marriage in Telangana. 25 lakh rupees spent in dowry. A new turn came in the marital relationship when the woman came to know that her husband was impotent.
When she complained about this to her in-laws, the accused said that they knew about the lack of a son but married her for dowry. After which an FIR has been filed by the woman against five people including the accused husband under the sections of dowry harassment, molestation and threats.
Was married to a young man from Telangana
The girl, resident of Izzatnagar, was married to a young man from Telangana on 12 December 2018. When she reached her in-laws’ house after marriage, her husband’s reality came to light. To prevent the house from breaking down, she asked her husband to get her treated. Even after treatment there was no benefit. Then she told this to her in-laws.
I needed money so I got married
It is alleged that the in-laws said that they needed money, so they lied and got their son married. The brother-in-law started taking advantage of this. Taking advantage of the opportunity, he started doing wrong things. Started pressurizing them to live together. When she asked about going back to her maternal home, her in-laws imprisoned her.
Somehow she reached home on 24 December 2020. Took divorce from the accused under Hindu Marriage Act. Now an FIR has been lodged against the accused. On the orders of ADG, Izzatnagar police wrote an FIR and started investigation.
Obscene photos made viral by making fake ID
In Bareilly, the accused created a fake ID of a girl and circulated obscene photos on the internet media. In return for removing the photo, the accused asked the girl to make her happy. On the basis of the complaint letter, Baradari police has registered an FIR against the accused Vikas and his brother-in-law Sambhav Sharma alias Lalu under the IT Act and other sections.

The girl, resident of Baradari, told that she knows the accused Vikas. After marriage, he and his brother-in-law started blackmailing. Despite many requests, the accused did not agree. Stolen photos from Facebook and made fake IDs and circulated obscene photos on internet media.
Sent photos to husband and mother-in-law. Said to leave the chase after making him happy. On protesting, the accused threatened to kill. Inspector Baradari Police Himanshu Nigam said that he has started investigating the matter by writing an FIR.
