Before the Lok Sabha elections, everyone’s eyes are fixed on Uttar Pradesh to see which side the camel of the opposition parties will sit on. At the same time, something different is brewing in the politics of the state. In fact, Samajwadi Party’s Bhadohi MLA Zahid Baig has met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, after which there are speculations that he is going to give a big shock to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav. However, no response has yet come from the party in this regard. It seems that the party is in a wait and watch situation.
This year, Zahid Baig has praised BJP’s policies on many occasions. Even in February this year, on the occasion of inauguration of the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Bhadohi, he had praised Atal ji profusely. Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak was also present on the stage. At the same time, he ignored the statement given by his party leader Swami Prasad Maurya regarding Ram Charit Manas and said that he did not agree with his statement. After Zahid Baig participated in this program, speculations had intensified in UP that he might follow the path of Bharatiya Janata Party.

Apart from this, he also presented his claim regarding the by-election for MLC seat. This seat has become vacant after Dinesh Sharma was elected Rajya Sabha MP. Dara Singh is trying his best to enter the UP government through this seat.
